The Mining Exchange

The spa was closed while I was there, which was a shame. Otherwise, the room was clean, well appointed, and nicely decorated. This boutique-style hotel has charming decor and attentive service. Its food menu is limited for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but the cafe options and cocktails are high quality. Several restaurants are an easy walk away, and a rideshare to or from the airport takes about 20 minutes. I'd definitely stay again.

Our VRBO double booked us, and then we accidentally booked the room we needed for that night in April instead of March through a hotel booking website. They still made room for my wife, kids, and me. For the low $200s, the two queen room and overall experience were great value. The next morning, the staff were incredibly kind and understanding while our two toddlers basically terrorized the lobby during breakfast. 10/10, we'd recommend it and come back.

Jose at the front desk was so sweet and friendly, and sorted out a small issue quickly. The vintage atmosphere was absolutely lovely, and the blk magic coffee bar in the hotel had really good coffee from certain baristas. I loved this hotel and would absolutely recommend a stay. I'll be back!

The Pantry is a handy little nook for Mining Club room guests, with ice, water, snacks, and drinks like coke, sparking water, chips, and even baby snacks. The food was top notch too. I still think about the steak frites and oysters, and the pork belly breakfast sandwich was to die for. The building is gorgeous, and the big rooms have the cutest decor. They really got the style and details right. More than anything, the staff stood out. Everyone was incredibly nice, the kind of place where you keep thinking, wow, that person was really nice, and then everyone is like that lol. This is our second visit, and it's probably my favorite hotel I've ever been to. I'm a big fan of nice hotels, and this one is just the best.
