Hampton Inn & Suites Columbia at University

Check-in was easy since I'd booked online, I just gave them my name. The room was very clean and had plenty of towels and washcloths, plus shampoo, conditioner, and body wash if you don't bring your own. I chose the hotel for its location near the hospital and the breakfast. The first morning, the oven had broken, so they only had waffles and cereal. They got it fixed later that day, and the full breakfast menu was available the next day. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone traveling.

The location right next to the university football stadium is great, and the place is a little dated but still very good. The downside is how easily sound carries through the walls and floors. You can hear people's conversations, phone calls, TVs, and every toilet flush from around you. Hope your neighbors don't talk much in their room.

The housekeeping staff and especially Kristi were amazing. We were dealing with an emergency C-section and a critical baby, and they were attentive and accommodated our requests. It was a fantastic experience. Thanks.

The rooms were clean and had no strange odors, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was okay. The hotel feels a bit worn, especially for a Hampton Inn, but we heard it's due for renovation in 2026. I'd stay again if the price is reasonable.
