The room was spacious, and the bed was really comfortable. Everyone we encountered was friendly, too. Breakfast was included, with sausage, eggs, biscuits, and really good gravy. We picked this hotel for a quick trip to Congaree National park and it worked out great for exploring the area. We’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and this one was good. I’d recommend it and stay again, even though I’m not sure what the one-star reviews are about.

Breakfast was great, and the room was very clean and quiet. Check-in was quick, and I was greeted with a friendly hello when I walked in. My only issue was the housekeeper knocking at 9am when checkout is at 12 am. If you’re not ready to check out, remember to put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. I recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

The room could use more luggage space and power outlets, and it still has a shower. It’s probably time for a renovation, but I’d return for the location and the service. At arrival, a wonderful young woman checked us in within four minutes. She was professional and welcoming. On the way to the room, another staff member seemed eager and happy to help.

The rooms and the rest of the hotel were very clean, and the staff were pleasant and helpful from the moment I arrived. A man named Mike, I think, saw me struggling with all my things and pushed my cart all the way to my room. The housekeepers were friendly and welcoming, and suggested some good places to eat. Tamicka, the General Manager, really made the stay stand out. When she asked how things were going as I was heading out, I mentioned a small issue. She apologized and had already started working on it before I got back. She communicated well and was willing to accommodate me. I’ll definitely return!
