I didn’t get any sleep. The bed was broken and made a racket whenever I rolled over. The shower curtain rod was broken too, so the curtain had to stay open while I showered. Cold shower.

My husband was charged an extra $25 per night for something we don’t know what, and a cleaner walked in on him without knocking. At check-in, the staff member was rude and asked him what disability he had because he uses a service dog. She then threatened to send him elsewhere if he wouldn’t tell her. That’s against the law.

The room was filthy. There were used bandages and candy wrappers lying around, and the floor was dusty and gritty, like it hadn’t been swept or mopped in ages. The sheets were stained, and I didn’t dare use the shower. I only managed a sponge bath before leaving in the very early morning, feeling gross and having barely slept. The location was great, but at check-in the staff member wanted almost $100 more for the room, nearly double. I went back to my vehicle, booked through Wyndham online, and got it for just under $100. It was close to midnight, and I was exhausted from driving across the country. My room was up a flight of stairs and a walk away. I had a U-Haul and wanted a parking spot where it could be watched on camera while I rested, but the staff member wasn’t helpful or concerned about finding one.

The building’s old, but it’s been updated, and the room had hard floors with no carpet. It was quiet, clean, and the bed was comfortable, so we slept well. The lobby and breakfast area were very clean, too. Breakfast was good, with scrambled eggs, waffles you make yourself, yogurt, and two kinds of cereal. We had an excellent stay and will come back.
