We spent three weeks in room 430. It was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient, though getting into the entrance was difficult. The kitchen had no pots, pans, bowls, or silverware, so we had to buy our own, and a coffee pot costs extra. Housekeeping only comes every two weeks. If you need clean towels or sheets, you have to wash them yourself or pay the ridiculous $10 linen exchange fee.
The staff were very nice and helpful, and the hotel has potential. Maybe I just stayed during a bad time. Our room key kept stopping working, so I had to go to the front desk several times to get it fixed. The plumbing was also a problem: the toilet wouldn't flush at all after our second night, and the bathroom downstairs by the entrance was closed because of plumbing issues too.
The desk attendant was wonderful, but the room was dusty and not clean. There was no soap, the blanket had a stain, and it smelled of smoke. Police kept circling the parking lot. You get what you pay for, I guess. Next time I'll go to a Hilton.
My brother recommended this place, and he was right that it's far and away the best of the many "weekly hotels" around here. I stayed in February 2018 and was very happy with the courtesy and respect I got from both management and the desk staff. The residents seemed mostly hardworking and early to bed, which made it quieter than other places. My room was clean, and staff resolved any problems quickly. Special thanks to Rhetta, an amazing and wonderful person.
The room was clean, reasonably priced, and had a regular-size fridge, which was nice. The location is central and right off the freeway, with restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores, and Wal Mart nearby, though you might need to make several U-turns. Parking isn't great, and I wish there were a pool.
