801 Polaris Apartments

My wife and I have been here nearly a year and plan to sign another 12-month lease. The place is outstanding. Staff are friendly, personable, and know everyone by name. We haven't had any vandalism or break-ins, and every tenant we've met has been very friendly.

Construction has been going on for more than three years, and the property still looks like a mess: dumpsters, trash, dog poop, muddy lawns, and work that never seems to end. Inside, the construction is awful too. The door frames are crooked, so doors don't shut properly. When you complain, the leasing office says there's new management or a new construction company and things will be fixed soon. I heard that a year ago. They charge full market rent for a building that's constantly under construction, and the elevators are broken far too often, working only about half the time. If a party happens on Saturday and another one the next day, expect to be charged $300 for both if Sunday's party leaves a mess. They won't listen when you try to explain your side. And if someone lives above you, you may hear their 300lb butt run around like a herd of elephants and nearly fall through the ceiling. Visitor parking is very limited too. The side lot now has tow signs because it belongs to the neighboring building. Even if you park in the spots furthest from the building, which look like apartment spaces, you can be towed if a driver is around and wants to make a little extra money. This place is a dump, and management doesn't seem to care about fixing it. The scripted excuses are wearing thin. With the photos people have posted and how long the place has been in shambles, I can't believe the over-the-top praise. It has to be from friends of staff or management.

The rent is too high for management this poor. Maintenance doesn't fix things quickly, and then they tell you to go through renters insurance when an appliance in their apartment stops working. That's not what insurance is for.

I felt at home during my time here. The community is safe and welcoming, and I had a wonderful experience. Taelynn and Trevor in the office were especially kind, helpful, and attentive. I'm very grateful for my stay and would definitely recommend this place.
