Budgetel Inn & Suites

My husband and I are truck drivers, and we needed a room while we were sick. For a five-day stay, we got one small towel each. When we asked for two more, they said no. The microwave that was supposed to be there was broken, and my sick husband had to get a fridge from another room. The top blanket looked sliced with a knife and had several cigarette burns. Nobody cleaned the room or made the bed while we were there. Between the room and food, our stay cost $800. We've had better service at other hotels nearby, and we won't stay here again.

The room smelled of smoke, and the smoke detector was dangling from wires and chirping. I put it back on the wall just so I could have some peace. I really don't recommend this place.

After a three-day stay, they kept my $50 deposit, saying the room was very dirty.

The check-in and check-out were quick, and it was quiet. We spent two nights in a smoking room, so the stale cigarette smell wasn't something I can really complain about, though products exist that can neutralize it. The covers had stains and burns, but at least they smelled of bleach. It was otherwise pretty clean, which I appreciated as a germ phob, and the cleaning lady was very nice. The microwave didn't work, and we found out only after buying frozen meals. I told the front desk woman; she apologized and said we could walk from our room to the office to heat our food. Nothing was done about it during our stay. At checkout, she had already forgotten when I brought it up again, so I doubt it'll be replaced. We were in Room 205. We wouldn't rule out staying here again if we're nearby. We visited a friend at a hotel a few minutes away, and that place was horrible and gross, so I'm glad we chose this one instead.
