The staff were polite, and the hotel was clean with attractive modern design. We liked the breakfast at Central Market, where our server was very nice, and the location made it easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and Nationwide Arena. The room itself was a letdown for what we paid. We booked suite 508 and used most of our points, but several problems weren't fixed after we spoke with the front desk. The living-room heating and AC were extremely loud, like drilling, though the bedroom was spared. The fridge barely kept anything cool, the shower leaked all over the floor, and there was no microwave anywhere in the hotel. Getting ice was awkward too. You have to scan your physical room key and hold it to the sensor while balancing the bucket underneath. In the bathroom, all the lights come on together, even if you switch off the ones that feel too bright. That's especially unpleasant when you're half-awake at night. At checkout, the employee was kind and said she'd return many of our points. I'd have preferred some money back. A disappointing Hilton stay.

When I arrived at the desk, Stacia said she could deny my check-in even though my confirmed reservation was already checked in. She then kept me waiting, saying she couldn't make a key, and wouldn't try another computer, contact a supervisor, or ask anyone for help. Earlier, after midnight, I'd called for parking directions. The instructions weren't clear, and when I asked how to avoid parking in the wrong place, Stacia hung up on me. I wasn't rude; I was trying to get into a room I'd paid for. The way she handled it felt hostile and dismissive, and it didn't seem like a technical problem to me. Hanging up, giving unusable information, and refusing to involve a supervisor is unacceptable, especially late at night when guests are tired and vulnerable. This reflects badly on the property's management. I won't come back, and I'd advise late arrivals in particular to look elsewhere.

There are restaurants on both the main and top floors, for breakfast and dinner. My room was fresh, quiet, clean, and comfortable, with great towels. The shower had lots of hot water and strong pressure.

We were able to get into our room before the 4 o'clock check-in time, which was great. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. COSI and plenty of restaurants are within walking distance. There's no on-site parking, so you can use valet for 45 dollars or park in a city lot.

The rooftop bar was excellent, and we also liked the lobby bar and restaurant. The hotel and rooms feel modern, fresh, and charming, and everything was very clean and well kept. I'll definitely stay here again.
