Courtyard by Marriott Easton-Columbus

Liz made a great first impression at check-in, welcoming and pleasant with what seemed like a constant smile, and she helped with checkout too. At the Bistro, Loretta was cheerful and made sure the breakfast order was prepared the way the guest wanted. The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet, with wonderful staff. The Courtyard by Marriott Columbus Easton still lives up to the standards I expect from this brand.

Even at the very end of the breakfast window, Tajuana, Mya and Desiree were willing to put together exactly what I wanted: a delicious bowl with quinoa and rice, arugula, tomato and avocado, plus lightly scrambled eggs cooked just right. They were genuinely courteous and friendly at the Bistro. It was a real highlight of my stay.

The stay was pretty good overall, and Kontarh was an amazing lady who made the experience great. The front desk eventually gave us breakfast for free after the trouble we went through, but hotel breakfast normally costs extra, and as a veteran I still had to pay. At checkout, we stood waiting 10-15 minutes while staff sorted out another guest's room issue. Someone could've helped us on another computer, but nobody did. The doors also slam way too loudly at any hour. Those door closers can be adjusted.

We come here every year from 12/19 to 12/20 for our anniversary, and we always enjoy being so close to Easton's indoor and outdoor shops, restaurants and other shopping. Billie at the front desk was terrific tonight. She gave us free water and clear details about breakfast, restaurant hours and more. The other employee helping her was also great with guests' shopping and restaurant questions. We'll keep staying here.
