Econo Lodge Columbus near Airport

The beds were so hard and uncomfortable, making this the worst two nights of my life. Both rooms were dirty. The first had holes in the walls, mold in the shower, a bathroom vent that looked untouched, and dust and cobwebs behind the door. The second had ants, even though it didn't have holes. This place needs a deep clean and a complete makeover.

The property felt neglected and was dirty, unsafe, and unsanitary. I notified staff or management, but nothing was done at all. I can't recommend staying here until major improvements are made.

For $80, this wasn't worth it. The room smelled of mildew, and the curtain wouldn't close all the way, so people could see inside. There were no other hotels available, which is why I came here, but I regret it. I'm sleeping in my truck tonight.

We left immediately and, thankfully, got a refund. The room hadn't been cleaned, with junk all over the floor that looked like it had been there for at least five years. The pillows were yellow, and something was dripping down the bathroom doors. We opened the adjoining door and found nothing but mold. I was appalled. Beware. The lobby looked clean and had nice accommodations, but the back parking area was messy and looked like a completely different hotel. I wouldn't rate this place a one.
