Motel 6 Columbus, OH - West

The location was amazing, and I felt safe. I could see outside easily at night, but the front desk needs more help so they can answer phone calls. The bathtub could use a better clean, too. I found hair in it from the old customer.

I was staying here longer than planned after a death in my family. Staff told me more than once that I’d get a couple of nights comped for all the trouble, but when I tried to collect, they kept sending me in circles. I thought it was finally sorted, then got put out in the middle of the night because those free nights hadn’t actually been applied. The couple next door had been arrested over drugs and guns, too. Worst experience ever. Don’t stay here.

I’ve been here a few weeks while waiting for my apartment, and it’s been a nice, quiet place to stay. The rooms are clean, the internet works really well, and housekeeping can get me fresh towels every day. Andrew at the desk is especially sweet, and Georgina is very nice too. It’s close to everything I need, and I have no complaints.

The laminate flooring was a plus, and the location is good, but I wouldn’t come back. My mattress was hard as a rock and sloped to one side. There were patched spots on the walls and ceiling that made the place feel shady, mildew in the bathroom vent, and the pool wasn’t working despite what the picture showed.
