Drury Inn & Suites Columbus Dublin

The staff were honestly the sweetest I've ever encountered. Even with sports teams making our first night really busy, everyone stayed kind and kept smiling. The manager on duty was amazing, stepping in wherever needed: checking in guests, bartending, cleaning the food area, and checking food quality, all with a smile. My partner and I came for a relaxing weekend away, something we often do at local hotels. This one was clean, the food was decent, and the pool area was well maintained. I hope the weekend team in management and food service gets extra recognition. They were so great.

The buffet food was good, and the pool area was clean and nice. Rooms were nice, too. This is an older Drury, but it's decent and clean overall, though it could use a little sprucing up. The staff are very nice and friendly. The buffet layout isn't the best: when food is being served, all the lines converge and it gets chaotic and overwhelming.

We came for my kid's birthday weekend and got a free room upgrade when we arrived early on Saturday. Room 500 was huge, clean, and cozy, with a very comfortable king bed in one room and a pull-out couch in the other. It was mostly nice and quiet, and we couldn't hear much of the noise from the main floor and pool, even with kids there for a hockey tournament and cheer competition. Most were gone by Sunday, so we could enjoy the pool and dining areas much more that evening. Breakfasts were good, dinners decent, and two free meals a day are hard to complain about. The pool and hot tub were kind of gross, though I'm assuming that was because of the obnoxious number of kids at the start of the stay. Everyone working there was nice, and the place was clean and comfortable. It's close to fun things in and around Columbus, and we'll definitely stay again. I'd read other reviews about car break-ins and was worried at first. I parked in front of the hotel, where I could clearly see the car from our room. The lot was well lit, and for the three days we were there, a security patrol car was across the street at the Hyatt, facing the hotel. That put my mind at ease.

Lynne was the nicest person checking us in, and Cecil was so friendly when we checked out. When we asked for extra pillows for the pull-out couch, they went above and beyond and got them to us promptly. The room and bathroom were clean. The hotel is a little older but updated in spots, and the customer service is amazing. My only complaint is that people started coming out the back door at 6am, yelling and slamming it. We were near the pool and fitness center, but thankfully it was closed for maintenance. The hotel itself wasn't at fault, but the noise was enough. If we come back to the area, we'll stay again, just on an upper floor!
