Econo Lodge Columbus West

I've spent $4,000 at this specific location, and they still treat me like an annoyance. I've had several issues and stayed patient, even deleting an earlier negative review after the manager at the front, the Indian lady, got heated about it. When I complained, she told me, “I can just checkout today.” I'm on the phone with corporate now, and this is staying a one-star review. There's a nicer Super 8 nearby that includes breakfast for about the same price. I haven't moved yet because I don't drive and it's hard to move my things, but I'll be leaving tomorrow.

The casino and Waffle House are right nearby, and the neighborhood seems nice. Somehow this run-down motel sits right in the middle of it all. Nothing bit me, so there’s that. I’m laughing more than crying, honestly. The TV was never going to work: I pulled out the table and found an old cable with what looked like archaeological dust on its broken connection. They said a TV guy would come right over, but there was no TV guy, ever. 🙃😄

My boyfriend and I stayed here once, and we won't be back. A horrible smell led us to look around, and we found dog poop all over behind the bed. The hotel did absolutely nothing: no room change, no refund, nothing. Don't waste your money.

I was offered a room with a ceiling leak and told I could get $10 off. They shouldn't be renting out a room that leaks, and I wonder if that's even safe. The room I booked wasn't cleaned to an acceptable standard, either. On 05/31/2025 I also found out the advertised free breakfast buffet wasn't offered, which felt like false advertising. I wouldn't give this place even one star, and wouldn't book here.
