Motel 6 Columbus, OH - Quarter Horse

I only delivered groceries to a couple of people there, didn't stay. I was told it costs a little under $1k/month, and most rooms are occupied by people living there and paying week to week. It's been pretty quiet on the few times I've visited. If you want a luxury hotel, look farther north, around Polaris or Dublin.

The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and I slept like a rock before getting back on the road. Everything worked as it should: the bed, clean fridge and microwave, great water pressure and hot water, and very chilly AC, which I appreciated in the summer heat. Check in was quick, check out was easy, and the front desk staff were polite and courteous. Guest laundry and ice are available in the check in lobby. It was simple to pay the room rate by card and the refundable deposit in cash. There was plenty of free parking, and the area was well lit when I returned late from the Newport Music Hall event. They also answered the phones promptly. It was exactly what I needed for the trip, and I'd recommend it and stay again. Thank you!

I put down a deposit and paid for the room in advance. When I got there, they told me I couldn't have a service dog 🐕‍🦺. I asked them to give me my money back.

The room wasn't even that clean, and my bathtub was filthy. The housekeeper and maintenance man were especially hostile and very, very, very, very rude. They refused to give towels or anything when needed, and the front desk staff communicated poorly. They'd bust into your room without knocking, and the housekeeper would harass you and threaten to have you kicked out over anything. She acted like she owned the place. I got kicked out for trying to jump my car after it died, and the housekeeper took numerous pictures and videos of me. Overall, a terrible place to stay, probably the worst Motel 6. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Very cheap, but the staff is a nightmare. DO NOT STAY HERE.
