Four Points by Sheraton Columbus-Polaris

Mariana is the reason I keep returning to this hotel. She’s professional, courteous, and genuinely attentive from the first interaction, and she makes guests feel well cared for. She’s organized and punctual, and handles requests or concerns efficiently and patiently. Her calm manner and problem solving make the stay feel more comfortable and reassuring. She’s an outstanding professional and a real asset to the Columbus property. I hope I can count on her help during future visits too, because she really makes a difference.

I travel to Columbus for work often for a large ongoing project, with about five stays in the last quarter of 2025 and more coming up. Usually I’m here for a week, and the staff make being away from home much easier. From the first visit, I’ve been met with kindness and attention every time. On late nights, our team would work together in the cafe area, and Marianna and her team checked that we had what we needed, even bringing fresh water after service hours. We’ve built a repour over many visits, and I’ve always felt valued. The staff are attentive and positive, and I’m grateful for them. I’ll keep staying here for my Columbus visits. The hotel is very clean, and the lobby is cute and always smells amazing. My rooms have been clean, the staff are respectful of my things when refreshing them, and the beds and bedding are super comfy. There’s also a gym. For the quality of the rooms and property, the rates are amazing. There’s lots to do, eat, and see nearby, with plenty of shops and a grocery store less than a mile away. Starbucks and a gas station are within a block. It’s right off the highway and about 20 minutes from the airport. Service, convenience, and quality keep bringing me back. Marianna and her team take good care of you.

I arrived around 11:00 PM and left at 6:00 AM, only to find my truck had been broken into along with several other vehicles. There was a security guard on site at the time. Break-ins can happen anywhere, but management’s response afterward was unacceptable. I’ve left several messages for the General Manager and haven’t received a reply. I travel often for work and choose where I stay, but this property failed at the basics of guest security and management accountability. I can’t recommend it.

Our car window was smashed, along with those of about 10 other cars on the property. Nearby hotels were hit too, and the cop estimated around 50 cars in the area. We were told this happens very often, almost every night, and that security does parking lot sweeps, but it clearly wasn’t enough that night. The hotel helped us clean up, though I wish we’d been warned at check-in so we could’ve been more careful. Nothing valuable was taken: our GoPro, necklace, money, and luxury jacket were left behind, but important documents and over-the-counter medication were taken. The front desk said the thieves usually look mainly for electronics and guns. Our service dog was welcomed without any issues. The room itself was lovely, with no carpet, a nice bathroom, a comfortable bed, and curtains that made it very dark.
