We stayed on January 10-11, 2026, and found bed bugs. The hotel still hasn’t taken responsibility. Just after midnight in room 215, we woke with multiple bites on our arms, chest, neck, ears, and face. The front desk said management wouldn’t be in until 9:00 a.m., and moving us was the only option then. We went to room 230, and within minutes of setting our bags on the bench, we saw a live bed bug crawling on our luggage. There were also brown spots on the sheets, a common sign of bed bug activity, suggesting that room was affected too. After 9:00 the next morning, I called the hotel and was told management would call me back. Corporate also said management would follow up within three business days. Neither has happened. No call, email, apology, or accountability. We’re still dealing with painful, inflamed bites, had to throw away luggage to avoid bringing the infestation home, and had to wash and dry all our belongings at a public laundromat before the event we’d traveled for. It was stressful, costly, and completely avoidable. The lack of response afterward is as disturbing as the bed bugs themselves. Guests deserve basic safety, transparency, and follow-up after something this serious. I strongly advise people to avoid this property. If a serious issue happens, don’t expect communication, concern, or a resolution from management.

Maya made check-in feel easy from the start. She was warm and professional, explained everything clearly, and helped me feel at home right away. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well organized, too. Service like that matters, and I’d happily stay again and recommend the place.

The breakfast was simple, waffles, eggs, meat, potatoes, and cereal, but it tasted good. I was there for a quick weekend, and the room and bathroom were what I expected. The building’s a little dated but still does the job. One thing to know if you like it really cold: the AC only goes down to 66F. I’d stay again.

I travel for work a lot, more than 80 nights a year at Hilton properties, and this stay put me off coming back. We checked in Friday (10/31) for a soccer tournament. Maya at the desk was, to put it mildly, not friendly. When I asked for 3 room keys, she curtly said, “you get two keys,” and slid them over. The rooms were clean enough for a Holiday Inn Express, but there was also a cross country meet that weekend. Kids ran up and down the halls and banged on doors at 3am. Most of our team chose the Courtyard Marriott. The photos I saw looked amazing. I’m not a Marriott fan, but this experience may have me giving them another try.
