Residence Inn By Marriott Columbus

The hotel was clean and modern, and I’d stay again if this situation doesn’t repeat. My family took a last-minute trip to spend time together, hoping to swim and use the hot tub, but a traveling sports team of young boys made that impossible. Their parents let them run through the halls and spit in the hot tub, which we saw ourselves. They were rude, and didn’t follow the guest rules posted there. My 13- and 16-year-old were shocked by their behavior. The front desk woman had to handle it all, and she deserves a raise. I work in corporate, so I know the hotel makes money from groups like this, but management should warn people who book when a team is staying.

Loved the kitchenette, especially having every utensil I could need. There’s a basketball hoop by the pool, a good workout area, and a really cool fire pit. The place was awesome, and the staff were super friendly. They deserve recognition for everything they handle each day.

I’d sworn off Marriott after a horrible stay at another one, but this location changed my mind. The staff were kind, knew a lot about the area, and really blew me away. The pool and hot tub were clean and well kept, and the whole place smelled wonderful, from the room and lobby to the pool house. They kept the outdoor propane fireplace going well into the night. It was the best hotel experience I’ve had in years, and I’ll book with Marriott again.

A good road trip stop, and we’d come back. Check-in was quick, the room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the grounds looked nice. Bringing our dog was easy, though there was a $50 pet fee. Breakfast was free and pretty standard, nothing special, but it was fine for the hotel’s price.
