The manager was kind, and after my third room I finally had heat and a much cleaner space. But it took three rooms over four nights to get there. The first room had the usual look, except for black mold in the bathroom. In the second, cold air came through the heater on a 30F night. I called Choice Hotels, and they suggested giving the manager a chance to address it. He replaced the temperature panel, and I waited two hours for the room to warm up. By 11:30 p.m. I was moved to the third room, where I took photos. I didn't bother raising the dead outlets in the bathroom and by the mirrors. The kitchen outlets didn't work either, so there was no hot breakfast, just coffee, hot tea, and cold cereal with 2% milk. This location needs an update.
