Sonesta Columbus Downtown

We came from Cincinnati on a business trip and stayed in one of the loft rooms at the Sonesta Columbus Downtown Hotel. It was spacious, stylish, and comfortable, like a modern city loft. The bed and pillows were amazing, and the place felt spotless, peaceful, and welcoming. Brian Dickens and his team were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Vincente was fantastic too and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful stay from beginning to end. Highly recommend!

The staff were friendly and accommodating, but the room's cleanliness would keep me from staying again if I had the choice. There was a thick layer of dust around the bed base and what looked like two years' worth behind the nightstand between the beds. I dropped something back there and had to reach in, and nearly decided to leave it. I was very congested overnight too, which I think may have been related to the lack of cleanliness. We were there for our kids' volleyball tournament.

I needed a document printed, and Markus helped me get it done. He's one of the best employees and really made my experience. They clearly take customer service seriously, and I appreciate that!

My employer chose this hotel, since Sonesta usually isn't a brand I gravitate toward, and I was surprised by how nice it was. The room was modern and very clean, and everything worked well. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were great. So many hotels have old, flat pillows where you need five or six to make one decent pillow, but these were normal, good ones. I slept well. The hotel seems to be under good management.
