During a stay at University Plaza, when it was over 100 degrees outside, I found out at check-in that the pool was leaking and had been serviced, with no idea when it would be usable again. The rooms felt dated and uncomfortable. The desk chair had a huge tear in its arm, the mattresses need replacing, and the old picture-tube non-HDTV was pretty laughable. It seems the hotel hasn't been updated in 10 years. The shower water kept cycling hot and cold, the ice machine was broken, and the A/C couldn't keep up with the heat. Waking up sweaty in an air-conditioned room shouldn't happen. If you can, stay at the Red Roof up the street instead.

The people here are friendly and helpful, and the beds were okay, but this is a tired hotel with average to worse rooms. If you need internet for work, the access is HORRIFIC. Stay somewhere across the street.
