Our kids loved the glass walk-in shower in the suite. It had just been renovated or built, and was spacious and very nice, well worth the price. My wife and kids got a great night’s sleep. We were in town for a ball tournament and called ahead; they could fit us in without a reservation. Check-in was quick and simple, and the front desk clerk was super helpful. There’s a train across from the motel, but we live near one and are used to it, so it didn’t bother us. I’ll come back next time we’re in town.

I checked in at contontinal inn around noon on 3/15/2023 and paid for my stay. After a long work shift, I turned on the A/C and lay down to relax, but the unit started making a loud knocking noise. I went to the front desk to tell the owner. He came to look, said nothing was wrong, then threatened to call the police if I didn’t leave. He cussed me out and was very rude. He asked me to go and said he’d return my money. I agreed, got my belongings, and handed back the keys. He hesitated before giving me the refund, but eventually did. It was a horrible experience, with nasty rooms and an unsafe environment, especially when I’m not from Arkansas. Just bad business.

The first room he tried to put me in was even worse than the one I ended up with, and the place looks nothing like the online pictures. In my room, the tub held standing water when I showered, the sink faucet was broken, and the toilet seat had bright yellow urine stains. There were marks all over the walls, carpet, and chairs. The room was tiny, very outdated, and cooled by an actual window A/C unit. The train ran past all day and night, and the walls were VERY thin. They charge for ice, there was only one trash can with grocery bags as liners, and housekeeping moved my food and other personal things around while I was out. I told the office manager, but he argued I shouldn’t mind them touching my belongings because they wore gloves. It wasn’t worth $70 a night. Even $20 would be too steep.

After tenants had stayed with Peter for over two years and paid more than $1,300 a month on time, they were given just 9 days’ notice to leave because the property was sold. Peter is a scam artist. On top of that, after I’d already paid my monthly bill, they said I owed a $250 move-out fee. Then they harassed my emergency contact to get money and called to say I still owed more. Are they absolutely crazy? Authorities have been contacted.

The rooms were very clean, and the staff were great. It’s convenient to downtown Conway, and easy to get on and off I-40. A wonderful place to stay in Conway. Thank you!
