We had to leave because of bed bugs, and I have a photo as proof. We threw away a lot of belongings because we were afraid of bringing the bugs with us, and I still haven’t received a refund for the week we had to cancel and didn’t stay. They kept my deposit and said I left the room dirty, even though I have proof of how we left it. This place is running a scam. We were homeless and needed an inexpensive hotel, so we moved to the Oyo and stayed there for a month. They returned our deposit at the Oyo, and we stayed twice as long there. Go to the Oyo in Myrtle, it’s cheaper and the customer care is better. Avoid this place, or you’ll pay for it.

I had to sweep and mop before I could walk barefoot across the floor. I cleaned the room before leaving, but rushed out and forgot to collect my cash deposit. When I called about it, they said I’d left the room messy. I can’t stand liars.

The shower didn’t work at all, the remote either didn’t work or needed new batteries, and there was a metal piece sticking out of the bed that I banged my knee on. It was overpriced, and thank God we only had to stay one night. We won’t be back.

Do not book here. We were given towels stained with blood, and the microwave and refrigerator we were told would be in the room weren’t there. The AC flooded the room and damaged our valuables. Bugs were infesting the property, and the owner wouldn’t compensate us for these major problems. We could have been exposed to someone else’s blood. The property owner has stopped answering my emails and calls about it. Stay anywhere else!
