From outside, it seems like a cute, well-priced place close to downtown. Inside, the chemicals and stale smoke hit so hard my eyes watered. Then I noticed stained bedding, a rusty microwave, and a rusty fridge that didn't work. The bathroom had mold in the tub and sink. The door wouldn't shut all the way, and torn curtains couldn't close fully, so the room didn't feel secure.

I couldn't sleep at all. Cockroaches of every size were crawling all over the floor and walls, and the front desk wouldn't refund me the next morning when I complained. There wasn't even a refrigerator in the room, which cost me $99. Don't stay here. Horrible.

For the price, it's a fairly decent place. The rooms are tidy and clean, and don't feel too worn out.

Check-in was supposed to be at 3, but our room wasn't going to be ready until after 4. The staff were friendly, and the continental breakfast was decent, but the stay was rough once we got inside. The room was filthy, with bugs everywhere and burned sheets. Water seeped up through the floorboards, then we woke to a huge puddle from the AC. There were no shower curtains, and the mattress was hard and springy.

The room looked cared for, and the bathroom was in okay shape. At least the hot water worked. But during check-in, the desk guy got distracted and kept my mom's ID card. No one brought it to our room or called to say they still had it. We only realized it was missing when we checked in at our main resort. It's definitely an experience.
