The hotel itself was great, and so was its airport shuttle. But after our flight landed, we had to reach the pickup spot before we could request a ride. We were told it would take only 25 minutes, but we’ve now been waiting over an hour and have called twice for an update. With two kids and a three-hour drive still ahead of us, we’ve decided to take an Uber back to the hotel. Pretty frustrating, so be prepared for this.

Tom at the hotel bar was super personable and professional, and he paid attention without hovering. His timing was spot on too, my next drink would arrive just as I finished the last sip. That awareness made the whole visit feel easy and welcoming. If you get a chance to sit at his bar, you’re in great hands. Outstanding hospitality all around! 🍸⭐️

I really appreciated the time Shanice spent helping me at check-in. I was flustered because I’d been given an accessible room even though I was traveling for business and didn’t think I’d booked one. I’m especially sensitive about accessible rooms because my son uses a wheelchair and needs them when traveling. Shanice kindly offered me a non-accessible room, then took the extra step of figuring out why I’d been assigned one. She found accessible-room attributes in my Marriott Bonvoy loyalty app. Although I booked through my business app, it looked at those attributes and assigned me the room. I’m glad I got to see the accessible room, since it would be perfect for my son on future trips.

Vicky was welcoming and helpful, a real asset to the hotel. My stay was comfortable and quiet, though I think occupancy was very low. I skipped the outdoor pool once I saw where it was: right beside the breezeway’s huge glass windows, so it felt like sitting in a fishbowl while other guests walked by and stared at your butt or crotch. No thanks. The other big drawback for someone like me who travels a lot is that there’s no laundry room on site. That matters a lot in choosing where to stay.
