The food was excellent, and the evening bar serves food too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, and the lodge sits in a beautiful spot with hiking right outside the front door. There’s no pool or hot tub, but you can play corn hole or sit outdoors and take in the views. The great room was cozy, with a big fireplace where we could sit with a drink and watch the flames.

Love all of Princess’s cozy Alaska lodges. We were wined and dined, and randomly picked as guests of the day, with a decorated door. Felt so pampered.

It was dirty and unclean, like something out of a movie. I also heard the manager yelling at workers and treating them like slaves while I was at the bar. I don’t recommend it. There are better places out there.

Everyone, from the employees to management, was friendly and helpful. Tyson at the restaurant especially stood out. We loved the service and will definitely return. Five stars!

We picked this as a stop between Anchorage and Valdez, and it’s close to Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. We stayed on the season’s first weekend and really liked it. The restaurant food was great, and the hotel was very clean, with a lovely lodge feel. In the cozy great room, there’s a fireplace, high ceilings, and a view over the forest and mountains. The outdoor seating was just right, with a corn hole game. Front desk, gift shop, and restaurant staff were all friendly, helpful, and efficient.
