I slept really well because the bed was extremely comfortable, and there were no bugs. The price was good for what it was. Still, the road noise from I-75 came through even with the fan running constantly and a sound machine on. Breakfast was bottom of the line, so as someone who stays in hotels often, I didn’t eat anything. It’s an older hotel in desperate need of a remodel. I wouldn’t call it filthy, but it needed a deep clean and the room lacked attention to detail: little bits of other people’s hair in random places, a moldy ring in the toilet, stains on the walls, and a stain on the lampshade.

We had plenty of hot food in the morning, and they gave my toddler a grand tour with lots of attention. The shampoo and conditioner were good quality. I was hesitant because of the reviews, but we loved the place and were so pleased with our room. You could tell they’d made sure it was very clean, and the staff were amazing. The sheets had light stains, though they seemed very clean, so it didn’t matter too much to me. It’s worth mentioning as something to improve. I’d highly recommend staying here and would come back.

The rooms met our needs, and we’d stay again. We spent one night here on the way from Florida to Nashville after cold weather changed our minds about sleeping in the van. Plenty of restaurants are within walking distance. The lobby and rooms were clean, the bed very comfortable, and the staff friendly. Breakfast was hot and delicious with lots of options. There’s no gym, but WiFi and parking are free. The rooms have two entrances, one through a glass patio door and one from the hallway, and both had extra chain locks, which helped us feel safe. There were new disposable coffee filters, coffee but no in-room tea, a fridge without a freezer, microwave, iron and board, hair dryer, and ice maker. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, soap, and a shower cap, but no lotion. A hook on the bathroom door for a robe or towel would’ve been handy.

We’ll stay tonight, but never again. We make the trip to Fla several times a year, and I’m sure we can find somewhere quieter to sleep. At check-in, we were told we had to take a room on the highway side because all the rooms on the quiet side are suites and management wants people to stay in those.
