Canterbury Inn

We picked the Merchant’s Room for a six-day stay, and it was the biggest room there. The separate seating area made it especially cozy, and we both felt safe with all the locked doors and the passcode entry. Shops and stores are right nearby, which was handy. Our room had a really big king bed, a huge bathroom and a working jacuzzi, plus cable TV, a microwave, mini fridge, closet, towels, shampoo, soap and a coffee maker. The spot was clean, quiet and cozy, and my partner and I had no issues. We'd love to come back. The pictures are blurry because I took screenshots from a video, and couldn't upload the video.

The room was spacious and very clean, and I loved the paintings and decor. Check-in directions were clear, and the customer service was great. I felt safe here and would stay again.

This is a charming, distinctive little boutique hotel, conveniently close to lots of things. My room was on the small side, though some of the others are larger. There wasn't a refrigerator in it, and check-in and checkout are basically self-serve, with no attendant on duty. Otherwise, it's a great place to stay.

A comfortable, quiet and inexpensive stay in a great part of town. The hotel has a quaint feel, with neat murals and a fun theme. I understand why the rooms aren't being refreshed, since the place is slated for demolition soon and a 10 story building is set to replace it. If you get the chance, it's worth staying here.
