Tiffany Inn Corona

My stay at Tiffany was great. The manager, Alex, was super friendly and made sure everything was right. The room was clean and comfortable, and the price felt fair. I'd definitely come back.

I had a terrible experience at Tiffany motel and lost my job, my luggage, and my work permit. I ended up homeless and had to buy my clothes, shoes, and other belongings all over again. I fell a year behind and felt ashamed in front of everyone. I'm from the same country as the manager and owner, and trusted them because I thought they were like my own people, but I feel they cheated me. I was depressed for eight months; now I'm feeling much better and trying to find work again, but they still won't return my work permit. I asked them for my belongings many times. Even though it was very cold outside, they wouldn't give me my luggage or permit. I have a video of my luggage. I also have my bank statement and proof of the transfer to their information. At first the motel seemed very nice. I paid a deposit for two weeks and asked the manager if I could pay weekly instead. I started paying weekly and was charged 540 per week. The manager asked me to pay cash, took the cash, and also swiped my credit card. I have my account details and bank statement. Then 240 was transferred to the room next to mine; someone knew about it. I told them the money had come through, and his friend said it had arrived. He said okay, but that I now had to give him 300. I said I'd pay the remaining 300 in cash. After that, he charged 200 to my credit card, and I transferred 200 to him, which he put in someone else's name. Now they say I must give them 585 before they'll give me my work permit. They have taken my luggage as well. Tell me, friends, how much of this is my fault? What kind of law is this? I ask anyone who has stayed at this hotel to tell them how I can resolve this. Please don't give them money or go through what I did. I ask all of you to help me get my work permit. I will give him 585 in cash and send you the numbers on those notes later. Thank you.

It was quiet, with little traffic, and the owner was very nice. Check-in and checkout were quick and easy. The bed was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly smelled good, and the bathroom and counters were clean too. The AC blew really cold, which I liked. But the headboard, lamps, and curtains were dusty, and the room looked old and beat up. I saw a small roach in the bathroom, and the toilet and walls had strange marks. At $83 plus tax, it felt like too much for what you get. I've paid less at motel 6 for a nicer room. It was an okay stay, though, and if I really needed somewhere, I might come back.

I've been staying here almost a year and haven't had any problems. When something does come up, Alex takes care of it. The new management is great, and Alex is the best motel manager I've had. His wife is beautiful and very helpful too.
