Avenue of the Arts Costa Mesa, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

We had another great week in the junior suite, celebrating our birthdays together since my friend and I share the same birthday. The staff and lovely decor made the stay special. I especially enjoyed the sauna in the gym, and the location was great. The restaurant has inviting decor too, and our server was kind and attentive. 10/10, I love this hotel and we’ll be back.

The staff were attentive and made sure our needs were met, and the amenities added a bit of luxury. Our room was comfortable and nicely designed, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. It made for a refreshing weekend away from the usual routine, and felt well worth it.

The lake nearby made the area feel like a little oasis. We took peaceful walks by the water among ducks and turtles, just steps from the hotel. For Abby’s birthday getaway, the Junior Suite was spacious and beautifully designed, with a private fenced backyard that was perfect for our pup. The room had thoughtful touches, including pet amenities, and Abby got birthday dinner and breakfast from the Pet Menu through room service. It’s unusually welcoming to pets and their owners for a luxury hotel. The lobby is striking, modern and elegant, with creative details. The front desk team greeted us warmly and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. We had a wonderful stay at Avenue of the Arts Costa Mesa and can’t wait to return. I’d recommend it for a relaxing trip, a celebration, or a stay with your furry family member.

A few things about the logistics were awkward. At check-in, they asked whether I’d use the bar fridge in the room, then handed over a key to unlock its cabinet when I said yes. To reach the parking, you have to leave the hotel and enter again from the car entrance. The app showed rooms available, but I wasn’t offered an upgrade. Still, it’s a charming, artsy hotel with its own character, hardwood floors in the rooms, and a pleasant artificial water feature beside the property.
