The ceiling really surprised me. There’s a detailed bird painting up there, and a black light makes the stars and planets glow when the room is dark. It feels a little like being outside in nature, and I loved that kind of attention to guests. I pass this place every day and never thought much of it. It’s not a big chain like Motel 6, and the parking lot asphalt looks rough. The staff were okay, though the front desk kept repeating “no smoking room” and “no visits” as if we couldn’t understand. Without that, I’d have given it five stars. I’m not sleeping on the asphalt, anyway. Thanks for reading!

I left early and moved on to the next stop on my vacation. After a shower and about half an hour sitting on the bed, I felt too grossed out to stay. The room had peeling ceiling paint, bare patches on the walls, and black stuff coming from beneath the shower head. That’s when I noticed its cover was detached from the wall. The TV selection was limited, with no TNT, TBS, Comedy Central, or HGTV, and the picture, sound, and screen kept breaking up within 20 minutes. At check-in, they asked for a $10 cash deposit for the remote. I only had $8, told the receptionist, and she said that was fine. Odd, but not a big deal.

Such a nice welcome, they gave us two sodas for free. The room was very clean, and the cable channels had definitely been upgraded. A clear five stars from us. We’ll stay here again when we’re back in the area.

The owners were nice, and the area was pleasant. Our room was clean, but the bed could’ve been a little bigger. We paid $200 for two nights, and I won’t stay here again. They said there was cable, but there weren’t many channels, and the ones available had such a bad signal they were hard to watch.

The bed was comfy, the staff were nice, and the room was clean. It’s a cute little place in a great location, and that mirror with the color-changing flashing lights was so fun. We loved our stay and would recommend it. I’d definitely come back!
