Relax Inn

The price was the lowest around, which mattered when I had nowhere else to go and stayed there for a while. A husband and wife manage the hotel. But there were mice, seriously. Service was poor: we had to ask for towels and toilet paper, and even then they might not arrive until the next day. Once it took two days to get towels. Management swore at my wife. The neighbor yelled constantly and kept his TV blaring, and although we told management, the noise never stopped. On top of all that, I was overcharged. If you can stay somewhere else, I’d recommend doing that.

The couple managing the place were kind and welcoming. If they seemed otherwise to someone, I’d guess there was more to it. Service was outstanding and polite. The rooms and the whole place are old, and my room was a smoking room because that was what was available for several days in a row. I’m not a fan of that. Still, the room was clean, the bathroom was very clean despite being old, and my towels were white and clean. The sheets were white and spotless too. I actually saw them being sent out for professional cleaning. I work in travel healthcare and have stayed in plenty of hotels and motels. Ten out of ten, I’d recommend it.

We slept well in a really comfortable bed, and the A/C kept the room nice and cold. The room was clean, had a bathtub, and the price was great.

The room was clean, comfortable, and everything worked. It did have a stale smell, though, so next time I’ll ask for a non-smoking room. Check-in was easy. The woman who greeted me was friendly, efficient, and polite. I’ll stay again.
