Cotulla Executive Inn

There are several restaurants nearby, plus pickup and delivery options, and truck parking too. The hotel is right off I35 and has an outdoor BBQ pit for gatherings. Rooms are clean and roomy, with comfortable beds and pillows, full-size towels, a big-screen TV, mini fridge, microwave, and shower gel and hand soap dispensers. The staff are friendly and courteous, and both daily and extended-stay rates are great. Highly recommend.

I work nights in the oilfield and have stayed here three times this year during rig moves. The last two times I checked in around 8:00 and paid $85 for one day, using the room from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Today I arrived at 6:00 a.m. After being awake for 36 hours, I was startled when someone pounded on my door at 11:22 a.m. and opened it as far as the security latch allowed. Two Indian fellas were there, and one shouted, "Are you checking out?" I thought I'd somehow slept more than 24 hours. He said I owed for another day. I showed him on my phone that I'd only been charged for one day on my previous visits, but I needed sleep, so I paid another $85. That meant I should have until 11:00 a.m. the next day. I went to the job site to check on operations, then came back to the motel at 9:00 p.m. The AC had been turned off and the blinds opened while I was out. It was 98 degrees in STX, so the room was no longer cool. As a paying customer, I don't think anyone should have been in my room before 11:00 a.m. the next day. That's unacceptable, and I won't stay or spend money here again.

The room was clean, with what looked like a newer bathroom, and the area was quiet despite being near the highway. The price was great. There wasn't really breakfast, and the pool wasn't set up, but I still enjoyed my stay.

The staff were nice, and the rooms were extra clean. It's a nice place.
