Aloft El Paso Downtown

The lobby has room to work or unwind. I’ve played pool and basketball there, and I’ve also set up with my laptop in the comfortable chairs. I keep coming back to this hotel for work trips to El Paso because I feel safe and comfortable here. The valet team is friendly and quick. Even when I haven’t called ahead, my car has never taken more than two or three minutes. Front desk staff greeted me morning and evening during my latest weeklong stay, and they sorted out an issue from this trip quickly. I like the rooms’ quirky style and all the windows. The bed is comfortable, though the pillows aren’t great for someone like me who prefers a firm one. There’s also nowhere in the shower for your things, so they end up on the floor. Still a great place, and I’ll keep staying here when I visit El Paso.

The location was the one good thing. I was charged twice at check-in and had to wait for the hold to come off. My shower had no hot water, even though the sink did. When I told the front desk, she only apologized.

Getting around downtown was easy from here. Restaurants, bars, and local places are all walkable, and coming back at night felt relaxing and safe. The hotel has a lively modern feel, but it’s inside a restored historic building, so it has plenty of character too. The room was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed, a smart layout, and contemporary details alongside the older architecture. Everything seemed well maintained. Staff were friendly and efficient, check-in was quick, and every interaction was pleasant. They were always ready with a smile or a recommendation. I really enjoyed staying at Aloft El Paso Downtown. It’s a fun, practical place with a fresh feel and a lot of charm. I’d happily return and recommend it to someone looking for a comfortable downtown stay.

The beds were really comfortable, and the water pressure was great. There’s a fun gaming area, too. It costs a bit more, but with valet parking and downtown within walking distance, I thought it was worth it.
