Hampton Inn Covington, GA

Daniel checked us in and went way beyond what I expected. He got us settled, then checked in again to make sure nothing was wrong. I’ve never had service like that at any hotel we’ve stayed at before, including this one. My daughter and I had the best mother-daughter getaway over Memorial Day weekend. The room was clean and stocked well, and housekeeping promptly replaced our towels with fresh ones. I’ll definitely stay here again!

The rooms are spacious, the bed is super comfortable, and the hotel is in good shape for an older place. It does feel dated, and my wife noticed a smell from the carpeted floors. Breakfast was really good for a self-serve setup. We didn’t use the pool. It’s close to the freeway and part of Hilton, so we’d recommend it for a quick stop on a road trip and would stay again if we were nearby.

Housekeeping kept my room clean and well looked after, and the team were pleasant and professional throughout. At the front desk, Daniel and D’Erica were attentive and very accommodating. I had several requests, and they handled each one calmly and professionally. They’re capable, well-spoken, and set a high bar for hospitality.

The food was really good, and the hospitality was hard to beat. We’ve stayed at plenty of hotels, and this was some of the best seasoned and cooked food we’ve had. The overall atmosphere was great too. Candice and Rebecca at the front desk were especially sweet and wonderful. The staff deserve a shout-out for making our weekend so lovely.
