We left and went to the Comfort Inn & Suites, which is very nice. This place was so disgusting that I couldn’t imagine sitting on the furniture, much less sleeping in a bed there. The room smelled terrible as soon as we unlocked the door. We asked for a refund, were denied, and left anyway. There were so many different smells in the building that it seemed like they’d have to gut it to get them out of the surfaces. I ended up here because I saw Hilton in the name and assumed it was the Hilton. It’s far from that. Steer clear.

Everything was clean, though the place is a little older than the newer ones by the interstate. It’s handy to have ice machines, and nearby there are restaurants, a grocery store, hardware store, dollar store, and a laundromat with reasonable prices, unlike the expensive places at the interstate.

I was pleased with the room. It was clean, had no odor even though I asked for a smoking room, and seemed fairly updated, with a couch and a modern flat screen mounted on the wall. The king bed was nice too. I only had an issue with the price: the website said $47 a night, while the clerk quoted $61 including tax. Nothing’s perfect, but I was definitely satisfied.

We stayed one night because this was the cheapest place we could find and had nowhere else to go. It was lousy. The office staff were rude and unwilling to help. It seems family owned, and they act like that means they can treat guests however they want. The place was full of Crestview's finest drug addicts. Don’t waste your time or money.

My husband and I mostly keep to ourselves, but there’s a lot of nightlife here, with several people staying long term. We’ve been here for four months and will probably stay until January. We were homeless for a year, and I’m 100 percent disabled. It isn’t a high-end place, but for the price you can’t beat it, and the owners are nice people. The rooms are big and decent. Dogs are allowed, though I don’t know what the extra cost is. It’s within walking distance of a grocery store, Dollar General, a couple of fast food places, the courthouse, Waffle House, and, if that matters to you, a liquor store. If you’re looking for good weekly rates or a longer-term stay, this place works for us. I’m happy here.
