The room was dirty, with old food left in the fridge, and the beds were really uncomfortable. Breakfast was awful too. My friend booked through Expedia and had already paid, but the man checking her in still asked for her card. She assumed it was for a deposit or possible damages, then later found a $60.00 charge for my 3 girls that she hadn't agreed to. She'd booked the stay so she could take them swimming and spend time with them. If she'd known, she would have gone to the Holiday Inn up the street, which is paradise compared with this dump, even with the extra cost. We can't get a refund, and this has nearly ruined the holidays. This place is a rip-off, and I feel terrible that my friend is stuck here. Don't stay here.

The rooms, pool, and Jacuzzi were clean and well kept. The owners were so welcoming and went out of their way to accommodate us, and the staff were polite and helpful too. We're already looking forward to coming back to Crossville, and we'll stay here again.

We were here for 12 nights for work, and the place was a good deal for the price. The owner was working the front desk and made sure we had everything we needed. He was really nice. I'd stay here again.

The pool could use a little attention, but I didn't have much else to complain about. Even though it's a pet-friendly hotel, there weren't any bad smells, and you could hardly tell pets had been in the rooms. Everything else was so well looked after: the bathrooms were presentable, the beds were made just the way I like, and the room was extremely clean. The housekeepers deserve a raise. Both managers were sweet and kind, and the employees went out of their way to help. I love this place and will definitely come back and recommend it to people. 10/10.

The room was reasonably clean, but so much of the rest of the stay was awful. The hallway smelled musty, the chair was badly stained, the pillowcases looked wrinkled and used, the coffee pot was broken, and our window faced a wall. The elevators weren't working either, so elderly guests had to take the stairs. We were traveling to North Carolina during a medical emergency involving my brother-in-law and needed a place to rest. The Baymont was listed online at $89 per night. We were exhausted and stressed, so we booked it, then got charged $243 plus fees and taxes at checkout. When we asked about the price, the man said we should have called ahead for a better deal. It felt like a blatant bait-and-switch. My sister called and was quoted $119. After she told the hotel what we had paid and said we'd take action, the employee smugly told her, “Nothing scares us.” It seemed clear they were willing to take advantage of people in a vulnerable situation. This was easily the worst hotel stay I've had. Their dishonesty was heartbreaking at an already difficult time. Avoid it.
