Motel 6

For the last three years, I’ve come here every month for a night or two while going back and forth to my new place, moving and getting it fixed up. Each visit has been a wonderful experience. Kristen makes you feel like family when she’s at the desk, and I’ve never had any problems except one check-in mix-up caused by one of those hotel stop sites. Kristen got on the phone and sorted it out. I have a service dog, and she has no problem with him.

I’ve never given a hotel such a low rating before, but that bed was painfully hard, like sleeping on plywood, and I barely slept all night. The coffee in the morning at 8:00 a.m. tasted burnt and bitter. I don’t mean to be disrespectful, but I won’t stay here again.

Three minutes after getting into the room, I’d already killed three cockroaches. The bed was hard as a rock, the bathroom exhaust fan didn’t work, and there were cigarette burns on the vanity. Walls were beat up, and the door barely sealed, so a cold draft blew through all night. This place is a dump.

The heater never worked properly, so the room stayed cold. When we were still gathering our things because we weren’t staying another night, the housekeeper burst in. The front office was very rude too, and the manager came to my room door and rudely told my daughter she had ten minutes to leave before we’d even gotten out. I’m glad we left and won’t be staying there again.
