Days Inn Crowley

Housekeeping checked with us each day to see whether we wanted the room freshened or needed towels. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and staff were knowledgeable and helpful whenever we had a question. From check-in to checkout, we had no issues at all. They went above and beyond, and we'd happily recommend staying with this staff. They took care of us day or night.

The front desk woman who checked me in was friendly, helpful, and knew the area. The rooms looked clean and the beds were nice, but the pillows were tiny. The property maintenance was poor: the freezer door wouldn't shut because it needed defrosting, my heater didn't work when it got down to 21°F outside, and the TV kept losing signal. It felt like neglect or laziness from the owner. Repairs should be done by someone who knows the work and takes pride in it.

The pool was clean, though there seemed to be a little too much chlorine. We went in around 7 pm, and the water was very warm, probably too warm in the middle of the afternoon. In room 107, the AC was cold, the fridge worked well, and the beds were very comfortable. I slept great. My three-year-old son and I liked the pictures and furniture, which gave the room an elegant feel. The woman at the desk was nice and gave us a double-bed room for the single-room price so we'd be near the pool. I'd definitely stay again.

The staff were really kind and quick to respond when the AC broke, which helped me get through the stay. I was there after storm IDA, so I was lucky to have a room, and you get what you pay for. Still, the hotel needs a major renovation. The room smelled moldy and musty, I saw cockroaches a couple of times, and the bathroom floor corners were full of substances I didn't want to investigate.
