Days Inn and Suites Cuba

The breakfast was good, the pool stayed open late, and the staff were friendly. My room was clean, though the place feels a bit dated. It’s right by Walmart and the highway, so the view isn’t much. For the price, it was a nice stay and I’d come back.

The pool was disgusting, with sand and rocks in it, and I have no idea how they got there since there’s no beach. I saw people passing around a pipe there, and the people smoking appeared to be employees. That made me uncomfortable, so I went back to my room instead. The room itself was okay. The person who checked us in was very polite, and being beside Walmart was convenient. The food was okay too, but there were no coffee pots in the room as promised. When I went to get coffee, the supply was empty, and I kept having to ask staff to refill it. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The rooms could use some updating and were a little banged up, though not too bad. The staff were really polite, well mannered, and accommodating. There’s a big parking lot, and the hotel sits far enough from the busy road that I got a nice night’s sleep. They also had a breakfast buffet in the morning, which was a nice touch.

Breakfast could use more choices, so that’s why I’m taking off a star. The room was spacious and spotless, with a big comfortable bed and a shower with strong water pressure.
