We had a great long weekend, and the whole property was lovely. At mt laurel inn our room was clean, though the bathroom could use an update. The staff were all so friendly: Shelley at check-in, Miranda in the restaurant, Grace before the guided horseback tour, Seth singing at dinner, and the women in the spa. We also went to the waterfalls and visited Delonaga and Ellijay. The waterfalls are a must. We'll definitely be back.

Sherri, the Wedding Coordinator, made the day memorable and stress-free, and shaped a relaxed ceremony around our situation. She also made sure the groom's family overseas could join virtually. My daughter and her husband chose Forrest Hills Resort for their wedding, and the staff were so friendly and helpful that they felt like one big family. The reception was well served, with very good food and a beautiful, delicious cake.

This was our fourth visit to Forrest Hills, and Lovebird 2 was even better for us than the Cupid cabin we've always booked before. The cabin was gorgeous, and it smelled so wonderful that we ordered the same reeds before heading home. Service was fantastic, breakfast was delicious, Peggy (?) could teach a masterclass in grits, and Shelly or Sherri, our waitress on the last night, was a delight. For dinner, we loved Spirits and Bourbon Street, and at the resort I'd recommend the Secret Garden Dining Room for couples. We enjoyed the Chicken Alfredo, fried chicken dinner, Caesar salad with grilled chicken, and pretzel. If you drive to Helen, GA, the mountain coaster is a blast.

Snow kept us at the resort on our second day, but that turned out fine. The included breakfast was the best free breakfast we've had, and dinner there was very good and reasonably priced, with great service. We spent four days in a bilevel hotel room and everyone was so nice, from the front desk to the wait staff. We'll recommend the place and stay again.

The carriage ride was magical, and Mitzi and her horses were lovely. Timothy Landon was our photographer, patient and kind, with a great eye. He made sure to get the photos we'd asked for, and we're excited to see them. The newly renovated cabin was a lovely place to unwind, and the setting was beautiful. We were married here on the 26th of December 2025, with a small family wedding we could all enjoy. Sheri kept everything moving seamlessly and went ABOVE AND BEYOND, while Shay officiated as if she'd known us for years. They even arranged a video call so family overseas could join. The food arrived right on time and was delicious, and all our guests complimented it. The cake was beautiful and tasted even better. Everyone was delightful, detail oriented, and accommodating. Sheri kept this bride calm through a busy day. This experience was beyond words, and we look forward to returning for anniversaries. - Rebecca and Sean
