The view was amazing, and the staff were friendly and knew their stuff. We liked the wine so much that we left with three different bottles.

The wine blending and bottling was the highlight for me. Down in the basement with the barrels, Nick took great care of everyone. We sampled a few wines, blended them to make one we liked, then got help bottling and corking it to take home. That alone made it worthwhile. There are a few places to sit when you arrive, including a general lounge or cabin area, an area that seemed to be members only, and a patio. Around the side of the building, another outdoor spot has a lovely view of the greenery. They also have small bites like dip and finger foods, so you don’t have to drink without eating, though don’t expect a full meal or steaks. The tour was pretty good. The staff were professional and knew a lot about the craft. If you haven’t tried wineries in this part of Georgia, this seems like a good one to start with, especially since there are so many nearby that you can visit several in one day.

We liked Kaya’s two Chardonnays best, one oaked and one unoaked. The wines are on the pricier side, but the quality and craftsmanship come through. Maggie the Sommelier was friendly, informative, and helpful. The bar and deck also have exquisite views. We stopped in the winery belt near Dahlinega, GA, after sampling a few Kaya wines in a Dahlonega tasting room and wanting to see what else they offered. Starting your tastings here puts you in the heart of the "Napa of the South," with several good wineries just minutes or miles away. Search "wineries near me" from the deck and have fun! Kaya belongs to a trio of affiliated wineries, and all are excellent choices.

The vineyards and mountains made for an incredible view, and the place itself was beautiful. I liked the wines I tried, though I can’t remember their names. The service was very good too, maybe Kayla helped us. They also have an electric car charger.

The wines were tastier than I expected, and the sandwiches were scrumptious. Service was really good too. They’ve got four Tesla chargers as well. We’ll definitely be back!
