I’ve stayed here twice on trips home to see family, and I’ll come back. It’s family owned and operated, and they make an effort to earn your business. You can spend more elsewhere, but this suits people like me who just need to wash up, sleep well, grab a quick free breakfast and get on with the day. It’s not really a tourist place, more somewhere out-of-town construction workers or salespeople might stay.

We were in town for an out-of-state medical procedure and didn’t get to use much, like the gym or breakfast, because of our quick stay and surgical needs. The room was quiet, with comfortable beds and pillows, and the air conditioning was great. Having a mini fridge and microwave came in very handy. Check-in and checkout were quick and easy. It’s centrally located near the market, Walmart and plenty of businesses. I’ll stay here again next time I’m in town.

It’s a clean hotel in a good spot near the expressways. The rooms are a little old-fashioned, and that’s part of their charm. No complaints.

There were some nice parts to the stay: the owners were generally kind and attentive, other staff were pleasant, parking was free, and there was a waffle house three minutes away. But the property advertises a hot tub and there wasn’t one. The pool was closed, though the front desk person did give us pool towels. There was hair on the soap holder and towels, and we saw an opossum inside the hotel near the pool exit. Breakfast was free but ended at 8:30, which feels early for people on vacation.

The stay was quiet and comfortable. The room was nice and clean, and it looks like it had been updated fairly recently. The lobby was clean too, and the front desk was helpful.
