I’ve stayed here twice and wanted to come back a third time, but the front desk service has been no help. During the winter storm, I called to ask about room rates since I work at the nearby airport. The African-American woman working nights told me to look online, even though I was calling to ask what the rates were then. She put me on hold for ten minutes and hung up on me. A week later, I booked a night and came to the desk in the evening. I’m not sure if it was the same woman, but she had a terrible attitude. I was polite, yet she kept interrupting me and being rude, as if I were bothering her.

The room smelled of smoke, and the sink was clogged. Parking cost $33 a day for self-parking, and nobody mentioned the charge. I left my truck up front near the doors, but the rear window was broken and everything inside had been tossed around. There wasn’t anything worth stealing, but someone had clearly gone through it. The staff acted like they knew this was an issue and weren’t helpful. They said they’d only answer questions or review cameras for the police. I just wanted to know if there was anything else I should worry about after people got into my truck right in front of the hotel.

If you bring your own vehicle, especially a truck, there’s a good chance it could get broken into. Ours was finally broken into today, after three others had been hit over the past few days. There are cameras behind the hotel, but they don’t work. I’ll attach the card for the best window repair person, so you can be ready to call and pay $500 to have a new window installed.

We booked at the last minute with Marriott points and checked in after midnight. Anmar at the front desk was great, really friendly, funny, and clear about everything we needed to know. Since the hotel wasn’t full, he gave me a very late checkout and let us choose a room with one of the best views of Love Field. We had a great stay and will be back.
