The property was quiet and dog friendly, which I was happy with. I stayed a few days because I needed a place, and the location was great. My room was like a small apartment. The young woman at the front desk was wonderful and patient when there was a problem on arrival. But the rooms didn’t seem to have had a proper clean in a while, and they seemed short-staffed for housekeeping. I’ve worked for several hotels and run a small cleaning company, so I cleaned my room the night before checkout.

I called on May 4, 2025, asking to speak with a supervisor or get the customer service number. The person who answered was speaking very quietly at first. When I explained the situation, they raised their voice; then, when I said to just give me the number, they told me to Google it, said “have a good day,” and hung up. On October 18, I still hadn’t heard back. I also spoke with someone supposedly named Shelly, the general manager, who said she’d review the matter and call me, but never did. Their customer service is horrible. Maybe people are nice while you’re staying there, but this happened early on a Sunday morning, around 8:00. Who knows, maybe the person was hungover or had a bad night and took it out on a customer, or former customer. If a manager or supervisor is allowed to hang up on someone and nobody follows up, that says a lot about the company, and it’s sad. How am I supposed to get back in touch if I don’t even know your name?

The only reason I’m giving this place one star is that it’s cheap and pet friendly. If I’d known what we were in for, I would’ve paid more for a better hotel. We asked about checking in an hour early and were told no because they were still cleaning. If this was considered clean, I don’t want to know what the room looked like before. Online photos made the rooms look decent, but ours was dirty, smelly, and sticky. We bought cleaning supplies, towels, pillows, and slippers just to make it bearable, since our feet kept sticking to the floor and getting dirty. The sink was filthy and took hours to drain, and there was grime in every crevice. The carpet felt wet and sticky; after showering, I’d walk across the room and get so much dirt and buildup on my feet that I didn’t want to get into bed. I thought these rooms were non-smoking, but there was an ashtray and it smelled like cigarettes. Save your trip and stay somewhere else.

The dog area was so full of poop we couldn’t walk through it, despite the desk clerk asking us to pick up after our dog and saying they were out of dog bags. We always clean up and had over 300 bags with us. We also fixed the loose toilet seat ourselves, buying a kit for its missing bolt and nut without saying anything to the staff. The stove knobs were broken, the fridge and floors were gross, and mildew or mold was coming from the AC and heat vents. Housekeeping is a joke, and it was clear some people live in rooms there. We checked in after 3 p.m., but the assigned room wasn’t ready, with pizza boxes on the dresser and bedding on the floor. The replacement room was supposedly freshly cleaned and disgusting too, so we cleaned it ourselves and took lots of photos. We’re very disappointed and will never stay again. I’ll tell everyone I know to avoid it.
