We stayed at the Homewood Suites downtown Dallas on Elm Street the weekend of December 19, 2025. I’ve traveled extensively, so I’d put it at about 4.5 stars based on my expectations. The location is excellent, with the American airlines center and reunion tower about a 25-minute walk away, and the JFK museum and aquarium each around 15 minutes on foot. We had a clean corner room on the 8th floor that looked recently renovated. It had windows on two walls, a king bed, pull-out sofa, microwave, fridge, TV, and plenty of space. There were a few dents on the fridge door. The service team, from reception and the front desk to valet parking, were all very friendly and helpful. Our room rate included buffet breakfast, pool tables, and virtual golf, which we used. The basketball area looked great, though we didn’t try it. Valet parking was $37 per day with unlimited in-and-out. Breakfast was average, about what I expected: standard eggs, lukewarm sausage, cereal, fruit, not-great coffee, juice, milk, and waffles you cook yourself.

Jay at the front desk was so friendly and accommodating. My family had lots of questions, and she answered them all politely and helpfully. The room was perfect for us, and the bed was really comfortable. The movie theatre was a big plus. The pool is gone, as Jay explained, but that was okay. We loved our stay and will come back if we need to. Five stars!

Daniel at the front desk was a huge help with a few last-minute requests, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The location is convenient, and I’ll absolutely stay here again.

Moncia was a huge help to my husband and me when we were stranded at the hotel during a snowstorm. She helped us get everything we needed to stay comfortable, and went above and beyond for us and several other people in the lobby who needed help. She was helpful and professional throughout. We really appreciate service like that, and there should be more customer service employees like her. She’s awesome.

Being downtown was convenient, and I felt the rate was a good deal. Breakfast was included, and the stay was good enough, even if nothing about it was amazing. The kitchen area was roomy, with a big fridge and a dishwasher. I didn't really have anything to complain about.
