Econo Lodge Dalton West

We felt safe, and the room was clean and comfortable. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast was appreciated. For the price, it was a great stay. I've stayed at many Econo Lodges, and this is one of the nicer ones. I'd stay again.

Nothing about the room felt comfortable, and it was clear no one had cleaned it. There was trash under the table and chairs, the floors hadn't been swept, and a dried-up booger was stuck on the wall. Both beds had unwashed sheets, with different kinds of hair all over under the covers. There was hair on the pillowcases and toilet seat too. The door had a huge gap underneath and along the side, so outside noise came right in. The TV remote was covered in gunk, and the TV lagged every minute. Don't bother planning to watch anything.

I enjoyed my stay here, which is why it's frustrating that I'm giving a low rating. I left a personal item behind, and someone on the management team said they'd ship it sometime the following week, when I got back at the start of August. It's still there, and they won't help, even though I said I'd gladly pay shipping. I'll update this review once it gets returned to me.

Deanna at the front office was amazing. After the place down the street, she was a breath of fresh air and brought a really good vibe to the whole place.
