Hampton Inn Danville

The location was phenomenal, tucked away with lots of privacy and space, plenty of grass for the dogs, and a dog poop station out back. The breakfast was great and had just about anything you could want. We were also given complimentary water, and everyone in the lobby welcomed our fur babies. Christina checked us in quickly and told us she'd be there all night if we needed anything. Such a nice lady. We called for a last-minute room after the Super 8 next door had told me on the phone that they wouldn't take my dogs because pitties weren't allowed. I was irritated and upset, but the woman I spoke with at Hampton was amazing, consoled me, and said they had a room and everything would be fine. I think we'll stick with Hampton Inns from now on, mainly because we only travel with our dogs and I know they're accepted here. I'll absolutely recommend this hotel.

I was really looking forward to the hot tub, even more than bringing the kids to Knoebels, so finding out it's broken is a huge bummer. I couldn't find any mention of that on the website, and it's too late to cancel. I'm super unhappy about the stay now. Hot tubs are my favorite part!

Our family always stays at the Hampton Inn in Danville when we go to Knobels. You feel welcome from the manager and front desk to maintenance and housekeeping. Their customer service is the best I've ever seen. I wish every business ran like this one. ❤️💯❤️

We were rested and comfortable after our night there. Our room, number 311 on the third floor, was a nice size and clean, with comfortable beds and pillows, a microwave, and a small refrigerator. There was plenty of parking, even with a bus and two large pickups with car trailers parked sideways across a lot of spaces. We came for a concert at Spyglass Ridge Winery in Sunbury and expected a late night, so we chose this Hampton Inn, about half an hour from the venue. There weren't any available hotels closer that were of comparable quality. We booked the day before. Weekend rates were higher, as they are at most hotels. The hotel was easy to find, and the woman at the desk greeted us cheerfully. Breakfast is free and self-serve from 6 to 10 in the morning. There was yogurt, oatmeal, fresh fruit, hard-boiled eggs, breads and bagels, blueberry muffins, scones, ready-made omelets, chicken sausage with very good flavor, and waffles you make yourself with a range of toppings. There was a juice machine with several choices, and hot coffee and tea were available in the lobby all the time. If you're nearby and want a clean, comfortable hotel, this is a good option.
