Hampton Inn Danville

We come to town for track meets at Centre College and try to stay here each time. The rooms are very clean, the staff are friendly, and the hotel seems well managed. Breakfast runs until 10, but we arrived around 9:15 and were the last ones there. A lot of the food was already gone, then the cook brought out fresh potatoes and omelets for us. That was a thoughtful extra effort. Thanks, we'll definitely stay here again when we're in Danville.

We spent four nights here, and the front desk and housekeeping staff were super friendly. There were lots of nice personal touches, including little chocolate packs, thoughtful notes, and even a rubber ducky in the bathroom. I've never seen an indoor hotel pool that didn't put me off, but this one was so clean I had to take a dip. Everything smelled fresh too, from the halls and lobby to the bathrooms, gym, and pool area. I saw the first-floor common areas being mopped at least twice a day. The breakfast area stayed clean, and all the pastries were individually packed in ziplocks, which can't be cheap. This is the cleanest Hampton Inn we've ever stayed at, and we stay at Hamptons frequently. It's our go-to brand.

The bed was comfortable, the place was clean and friendly, and breakfast had enough options that most people should find something to eat. It was a little pricey just for a place to sleep. We arrived after dark and took the wrong turn, but found the hotel easily enough. The room was nice, and the staff were friendly. We normally bring water or another drink with us, but didn't this time, and found the complimentary water in the room had been taken.

The breakfast was hot and delicious, with plenty to choose from, and the beds and rooms were comfortable. Prices were very affordable. The facilities were pleasing, with lovely, elegant Christmas decor that wasn't overdone. The staff were wonderful and accommodating, and the room had little treats that made us feel welcome. They checked in with us and were ready to help make sure the stay was what it should be. We've stayed in very nice hotels, but I don't think we've ever been somewhere that paid this much attention to cleanliness. Every part felt as clean and germ-free as they could make it while still being enjoyable. This will definitely be our go-to when we visit Danville.
