Quality Inn Daytona Beach Oceanfront

The outside didn’t impress me much at first, but Gina at the front desk immediately made us feel welcome. She was professional, smiling, and great with customers, and even suggested nearby restaurants. Our room was cozy, clean, and smelled good. We also had a partial view of the lake, which made the stay more memorable. We’ll stay there again.

The beach is just two steps away, and parking was fair. Service at the front desk and from the other staff was five-star. The rooms could use an upgrade, though you can see that improvements are underway. I’d return to this location.

This Low Quality Inn needs serious work. The toilet was crooked, the shower head was barely attached, and hot water took more than five minutes. They acted shocked when I brought it up, which was insulting. So was charging a $100 damage deposit given the condition of the place. I will not be back.

The room smelled of cigarettes and filth. I checked the mattress before lying down and found it covered in bed bugs and stains, with a cloth cover put over it to hide the problem. The staff were rude and unprofessional. They told me to call back for a manager, then argued with me and hung up, refusing a refund even though we hadn’t stayed more than an hour. This hotel was extremely disgusting. Do not book here or you could end up with diseases.
