Sunshine Inn of Daytona Beach

The location was great, and the guy at the desk was pretty cool. The linens were clean, but the towels were yuck, so bring your own. Otherwise, it’s a decent place to sack out for a night.

Sam was so kind and awesome, and the room itself was comfortable and clean. We could have used more towels and a sheer layer under the comforter. Our main complaint was the floodlights on the neighboring building, which kept the room lit all night. The AC unit made it worse by blowing the curtain straight up and letting all that light in.

The manager told me to move my Harley under the awning when a hailstorm came through, which was thoughtful. The staff are very nice and clearly care about the motel. Our room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the updated bathrooms and floors looked great. I’d definitely recommend it.

It’s a motel, but it’s extremely clean. The owner even offered to swap parking spots because of my high-end car and knew I wanted to see it from my room. Bring your own shampoo, and maybe better soap. I’ll stay again!
